Gaby is currently a Masters of Community Planning student at the University of Cincinnati. Before moving to Cincinnati, Gaby lived in Kalamazoo, MI, where she worked as the Market Manager for the Kalamazoo Farmers Market. While there, she created and managed several programs, including Night Markets, Kids Markets, Cooking Demonstrations, Bicycle Benefits and Valet, and Music and Entertainment. Overall, Gaby's experience with food systems and farmers markets has inspired her to continue working to create healthy and sustainable cities for all, be it on the ground managing the events themselves or behind the scenes creating the spaces and opportunities that allow them to occur. Apart from this experience with food systems and cooperatives, she also has worked with natural resources while serving a term with the Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa.
